Record Attendance for Drug Discovery Chemistry 2016
600 participants from 25 countries gathered in beautiful San Diego for Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Eleventh Annual Drug Discovery Chemistry conference. Focused on discovery and optimization challenges of small molecule drug candidates, this event once again provided many exciting opportunities for scientists to create a unique program according to personal interests by encouraging track-hopping between multiple synergistic conference tracks. 28% of attendees were from the pharmaceutical industry with an additional 44% from biotech and 16% from academia. 30% were titled as executive/director, 43% as scientist/technologist, and 9% as professor.
